The following are questions I would like to raise in the call regarding the SHO/FBSS feature.
1. How can the MSS distinguish between soft combining and RF combining DL allocation? 2. Preamble field in the Anchor IE – what is it used for? 3. SHO/FBSS Capability negotiation - better be value based instead of bits field, should include also capability for SHO/FBSS features, Soft combining and MIMO SHO. 4. HO CID Translation MAP IE – how is it used - no reference for the temp id in other IE definitions. 5. Not clear how to SHO selective combining with different CID and/or different Encryption key is been supported. 6. BS informs Anchor BS using DL/UL-MAP: how is it been done? Feature seems to be missing.
