My
understanding is that the subchannl index in the UL-MAP specifies the
subchannels used by the contention region as a whole and not the dimensions of
each TO. The UCD parameters in Table 350 define the dimensions of each TO in the
region.

number of subchannels used by TO "when REQ Region full is allocated in
subchannelization region". Since each REQ region in the UL MAP is accompanied by
subchannel index, what is the meaning of the parameters in table 350? Doesn't
the subchannel index in the UL MAP already specify the number of
subchannels? In addition,
in case the subchannel index in the UL MAP specify all 16 subchannels, how
should the SS calculate duration of TO? According to the parameter in table 350?
