[STDS-802-16] Fwd: Updated IEEE Patent Letter of Assurance (LoA) Form
All,
The IEEE-SA Standards Board Patent Committee (PatCom) has approved
revisions to the IEEE LoA Form, most of which were discussed during
the December 2004 PatCom meeting.
The updated form is available at
http://standards.ieee.org/board/pat/loa.pdf
PatCom strongly prefers the use of this form vs. free-form LoAs. It is very
possible that the form will be mandated (in 2006).
The old form will still be accepted for a while; perhaps, the next month.
