One thing that many people misunderstand:  For most, but not all countries, attendance at a conference/meeting, such as an IEEE session, does NOT constitute “conducting business”.  That term is usually reserved for activities involving actual financial transactions, such as sales, signing contracts, etc.

Hi Folks,

 

I just found out today that a business visa to Italy takes 30 days to process. Also once you are in Italy you need to register at the police station for a permit. Can folks who have traveled there on business visas share any insights...
