>The deadline for Working Group Letter Ballot #18 passed this morning.
>
>When the deadline came, the ballot was 12 votes short of the 50%
>minimum return ratio. As a result, it could not close. This note
>announces an extension of the deadline until 3 May 2005 at 2 pm
>local time in Sorrento, Italy <http://tinyurl.com/86wq8>.
>
>Because the deadline is being extended, ballots received after the
>deadline have been accepted. Given the addition of these ballots,
>the current results are showing that the return ratio condition has
>now been met:
>
>Nevertheless, the ballot will remain open until the new deadline.
