[STDS-802-16] OFDMA preamble problems

Hi,
I have some questions about the preamble of OFDMA PHY in 802.16e standard.
Can anyone clarify the following issues:
1. In 16e standard, OFDMA PHY has only one preamble symbol in frame
structure, is that enough for receiver to synchronize properly? If one
preamble is enough, why OFDM PHY needs two preambles?

2. The preambles in the standard are optimized for PAPR generated by a
computer software. For different FFT-SIZE combinations, it may require lots
of hardware to recognize each pattern out of 113 kinds of preamble
patterns. Does there exist any rules for Rx to derive those different
preambles instead of saving them all in the memory?

Thank you very much in advance.

Regards,
