Hello, I have a question related to the scheduling of the next MSH-DSCH transmission in the standard 802.16-2004. When a station A calculates its NextXmtTime with the mesh election algorithm, what happens if it wins in a slot included in the NextXmtTime eligibility interval of a neighbour station B(theoretically could happen, as the algorithm is based on a pseudo-random function)? Station B has fixed already its transmission time, so while station B is transmitting at its eligibility interval, station A starts to transmit. Therefore both station transmit at the same slot and would be collision. But theoretically the coordinated distributed scheduling is collision free... can someone explain me how it is solved this problem? Thanks, Ana ******************************************** Dipl.-Ing.
