As TGm has
reconstituted the drafting group for evaluation methodology, the section editors of
C802.16m-07_080r1 have been assigned the task of coordinating the
update to C802.16m-07_080r1 for TGm to review before session
#50.
We are expected to do
the following:
- Resolve the
untreated comments on C802.16m-07_080r1
and record resolutions.
- Update
C802.16m-07_080r1 with these and all the resolutions in 80216m-07_019r2.cmt
- Generate a revised
document C802.16m-07_080r2 for TGm review
Here is what we have planned for the
update:
- We will
form ad-hoc drafting subgroups to update the different sections
of C802.16m-07_080r1 based on the comment resolutions. Any 802.16
participant interested in contributing to the update may join each
ad-hoc editing group by contacting the section editor responsible for
udpating the section of interest by Friday, May 18, 2007. Contact
information for section editors is given below:

- The ad-hoc drafting
subgroups will complete their work by Wednesday, June 11, 2007. All
sections will be merged into a new draft and submitted to the WG for
review by Friday, June 13, 2007. Meetings will be arranged
such that they are non-overlapping and about once a week, starting Monday May
21, 2007.
- Several comments on
C802.16m-07_080r1 were submitted in session #49. In the process of updating
the section, it is the responsibility of the ad-hoc group to implement the
suggested remedies on comments that were resolved in the working group.
Implemented remedies will be reflected in the comment database 80216m-07_019r2.cmt.
- The
drafting group is to also propose resolutions for the comments that were not
resolved during the meeting. These resolutions will be included in the
updated comment data base as well
as the updated document.
- In order to improve the flow of the document and
address any inconsistencies, the drafting group will also harmonize bracketed
text and record any such changes made in the update to the
document.
- There
were several contributions submitted in session #49 and session #48 that are
referenced from comments that were submitted in session #49. It is the
responsibility of contributing authors to work with the relevant ad-hoc groups
to merge the content of their contributions as part of the updated
draft.
- Any comments that remain
unresolved may be resubmitted by WG members in response to the call for
comments on the updated draft if they find that their comments have not
been adequately addressed.
Thanks for your participation in this
effort.
Best Regards,
Roshni
