The drafting group is expected to do the following:

- Resolve the untreated comments on C802.16m-07_080r2 and record resolution s

- Update C802.16m-07_080r2 with these and all the resolutions in  802.16m-07_025r4.cmt

- Generate a revised document C802.16m-07_080r3

  • Ad-hoc drafting subgroups will be formed to update the different sections of C802.16m-07_080r2. Any 802.16 participant interested in contributing to the update may join any ad-hoc drafting subgroup by contacting the section editor responsible for updating the section of interest by AoE Thursday, Aug 2, 2007. Meetings will be arranged such that they are non-overlapping and about once a week, starting Monday, August 6, 2007.  Contact information for editors is given below:

  • The ad-hoc drafting subgroups will complete their work by Wednesday, August 22, 2007. All sections will be merged into a new draft, C802.16m-07_080r3 which will be submitted to the WG for review by Friday, August 24, 2007.
  • It is the responsibility of the ad-hoc group to implement the suggested remedies for comments that were resolved in the working group in session #50. These include editorial comments and resolutions recorded in 80216m-07_025r4.cmt. Implemented remedies will be recorded in the comment database.
  • The drafting group is to also propose resolutions for the comments that were not reviewed in session #50. These resolutions will be recorded in the comment database and implemented in C802.16m-07_080r3.
  • In order to improve the flow of the document and address any inconsistencies, the drafting group will also harmonize bracketed text where possible and record any such changes made in the update to the document.
  • There were several contributions associated with comments submitted in session #50. It is the responsibility of contributing authors to review the contributions with the relevant ad-hoc groups and propose changes to the draft.
  • Any comments that remain unresolved may be resubmitted by WG members in response to the call for comments on the updated draft if they find that their comments have not been adequately addressed.

Thanks for your participation in this effort.

Best Regards,
