In the last session of 802.16m, we
established two new Rapporteur groups to look at the downlink PHY contributions
from that session and tasked then to create some draft SDD text. Those
appointments and instructions were done via TGm document IEEE 802.16m-015. This message is to notify you of a
revision to those instructions, IEEE 802,16m-08/015r1, which was posted yesterday
to the 802.16 web site http://www.ieee802.org/16/tgm/docs/80216m-08_015r1.pdf. In order to simplify a lot of logistics
and document tracking issues, the primary changes have to do with the procedure
for posting contributions to the Rapporteur groups. Rather than use the
Goggle Groups file feature, two new password protected upload directories have
been established on the 802.16 web site at <http://memberupload.wirelessman.org>, specifically for the use of the Rapporteur groups. A link

entitled
"Link to File Upload Server” has also been put onto the TGm reflector. Contributions to
these upload directories must be numbered in the following form in order for
the directories to accept them: C80216mDL_PHY-08_xyz.doc
and C80216mDL_ctrl-08_xyz.doc. Very
Important: Please
note that name of the downlink control group has been changed from “DL_contrl”
to “DL_ctrl”. If you are involved in or interested in
the work of these groups, I STRONGLY recommend that you read this revised
