[STDS-802-16] outcome of IEEE 802.16 issues at 802 Executive Committee meeting of 14 November

Dear 802.16 Fans,

The IEEE 802 Executive Committee approved the 802.16 motions at  
today's meeting. It also approved the 802.18 TAG motions based on  
input that came from 802.16.

Congratulations to all. Particular congratulations to the Maintenance  
Task Group and the Relay Task Group, since their projects were granted  
conditional approval to send their drafts for RevCom review. Thanks to  
Jon Labs and John Humbert for the getting the Rev2 documentation in  
order, and thanks to Mitsuo Nohara for doing the same with the 802.16j  
documentation.

Thanks to Mike Lynch and the 802.18 TAG for their support.

Congratulations to 802.16 Member Mat Sherman on his appointment as  
Chair of the Executive Committee Study Group on TV White Space.
