Hi Jose, The M2M study report you prepared is very informative, useful and
interesting, however I recognized that most of the use cases you mentioned are
related to the application layers rather than L1 or L2 (PHY and MAC). Of course
WiMAX/802.16e/m will be used to handle them but as a bearer or PtMP mobile wireless
network. In other words, I'm wondering how we can define or handle them in IEEE
802.16m frame work. Thanks, Peretz Shekalim From: Puthenkulam, Jose P

Dear 802.16 M2M fans, The updated M2M Study Report Draft with Usage Models section
consolidated with the input contributions has been posted to the PPC upload
folder. http://dot16.org/ul//upload/ppc_db/80216ppc-10_0002r1.doc
Thanks to HanGyu our technical editor for preparing these
updates. Also Agenda for CC#2 will be Architecture & Requirements
& Usage Model Completion There is also a request to move the CC#2 to a more Asia friendly
time slot, because presently it will be 2-4AM in India and also not friendly
times in East Asia. So the plan is to move it to the same timeslot as CC#3 7-9AM Pacific
time. So will have 2 timeslots each with the same time. Also I have move the
date because of the late notice for 13th and give people enough time
to adjust. I considering moving it to April 15th 7-9AM
Pacific time. Please await my confirmation on this soon. Thanks & best regards, jose |
