Dear 16p members,

In session 73, Network Entry Ad Hoc (NEAH) was formed to discuss simulation assumptions which are used to compare various solutions for initial ranging. A scope of NEAH includes simulation scenarios, assumptions and simulation parameters. As announced in the last meeting, we will start e-mail discussion on simulation scenario. But, I think it’s more productive to discuss PHY assumptions and simulation parameters at conference call. So, I would like to initiate 2 conference calls to discuss and develop specific texts on PHY assumptions and simulation parameters. Before CC, I’ll issue call for inputs on PHY assumptions and simulation parameters, respectively. Ad Hoc members shall use a document “Evaluation Guideline for Comparison of Network Entry Solutions.doc“ uploaded in Temp directory at 802.16 upload server as a baseline document when they prepare any documents for discussion. Any documents shall be uploaded to < http://dot16.org/ul/ul.cgi?command=viewupload&database=temp_db >. The discussion schedule for NEAH follows:

If you have any comments on the schedule, please let us know.

According to the schedule, I’d like to initiate call for inputs on PHY assumptions. Deadline is May 31 2011 (AOE).

Discussion on scenarios will be initiated in another e-mail thread.

Regards,

Jaesun Cha (NEAH Chair)
