Re: [STDS-802-16] Comment 4 regarding draft 802.16 PARs

All,

In response to comment (1), The GRIDMAN Task group would like to append the following text to section 8.1 of the 0030 (802.16n) PAR:

"2.1 Changes in title: Title is being changed in accordance with the title of the base standard being amended. The title should read as follows:
Standard for Air Interface for Broadband Wireless Access Systems - Amendment: Higher Reliability Networks

Note that the myProject system may produce an altered version of the correct title.
"

In response to comment 2, please replace "802.16" with "802.16.1" in two places in section 5.5, and insert "IEEE" as the first word of the sentence starting with "802.16.1 technology is uniquely suitable for these purposes".

Thanks,
Tim.

Here are comments from 802.11.

For convenience, I've extracted the comments from their referenced slide set:

(1) Comments on 802.16n
2.1 Title seems redundantly stated.
?Repeated text 3 times.  Delete the repetitive text.
?Understand that this is not controllable ?
?Send note to NesCom Admin to fix it.

(2) Comments on 802.16.1a
5.5 - Missing the ?.1? on 802.16 in 2 places.  Missing ?IEEE? in front of 802.16 in one place.

(3) Comments on 802.16.1b
5.5 missing ?.1? after 802.16 in one place
