I'm pleased to announce that Harry Bims has agreed to serve as Acting WG Secretary. He is a long-time member with experience as Vice Chair/Secretary in the License-Exempt (LE) Task Group.
Please assist Harry by making sure that all documents presented to the Opening and Closing WG Plenary meetings are pre-uploaded, providing the meeting with the Document Number. TG outputs shall be Gdocs.

I'm pleased to announce that Jaesun Cha has agreed to serve as Acting Chair of the M2M Task Group. He is a long-time member and has been a very active M2M participant. Please offer him your full cooperation.
Two other notes:
(a) We still have an open position as Chair of the ITU-R Liaison Group, but that group is not meeting during Session #77.
(b) I will not be attending Session #77. WG Vice Chair Rakesh Taori will chair the session.

Subject: [STDS-802-16] open positions in 802.16 Working Group Dear 802.16 participants, I want to point out that the 802.16 Working Group currently has several open positions: (1) Scott Migaldi has resigned as WG Treasurer as of the end of 2011. Scott has been the only Treasurer in WG history, having graciously agreed to initiate the position in early 2009. He did outstanding work, and I thank him sincerely on behalf of the WG. I will serve as Acting Treasurer for the time being. (2) Erik Colban has resigned as WG Secretary. He was an exemplary Secretary throughout 2011, and I thank him sincerely on behalf of the WG. Erik is still helping out by completing the minutes of Session #76, which will be published shortly. He has also been assisting with the new documentation system. (3) Erik is not able to continue as Acting Chair of the M2M Task Group, so that position is open as well. Please let me know if you are interested in volunteering for these positions.
