All, the issue has been raised that non U.S. based
participants of 802.17 may have a difficult time sending a check for $200.00 in
U.S. funds prior to the meeting, and that it would be unfair to penalize them
$50.00 for being unable to pay by check before the meeting. Those concerns
have been heard and acted upon.
Will all those international participants that plan
to be at the interim IEEE 802.17 meeting September 10th - 13th in San Jose
California (details at http://www.ieee802.org/17/announcements.htm)
please do the following:
Send an email by August 15th to minou@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx, copying rdlove@xxxxxxxx, and tak@xxxxxxxxx, including your name,
company, location, and contact information, and stating that you intend to
attend the interim meeting. When you arrive at the meeting you will then
pay a $200.00 meeting fee, rather than the $250.00 to be paid by those that fail
to pre-register.
For the remainder of you, this is a reminder that
August 15th is coming up quickly. Please get your pre-registration meeting
fees in and save your companies the extra $50.00 fee that late registrants will
pay. Let's save those extra dollars for RPR
development!
Thank you.
