To all voting on the Terms and Definitions
Document.
Please carefully follow the instructions in filling
out the ballots to keep the workload for our over-worked volunteers to a
reasonable level. Specifically.
1) Each person should cast a single ballot.
The Subject for the note containing the ballot should be one of the following
four:
a) Approve
without comment
b) Approve
with comment
c) Disapprove
d)
Abstain
2) within the text, the corresponding line should
be the only one checked.
3) Each comment should have an indicated comment
type which must be T (for Technical), TR (for Technical, Required), and E
(for Editorial). Any disapprove will be based on having outstanding TR
comments. If your TR comments are all accommodated to your liking, the
assumption is that your vote will change from DisApprove to
Approve.
3) The comments should be sent to John Hawkins and
Bob Sultan, but not to the 802.17 reflector.
4) Carefully follow the requested format for each
ballot comment. John Hawkins must rely on your following the format
exactly so that he can have a program automatically extract the correct data for
each of the fields he needs in creating the data base.
If you have already sent in your ballot comments
without following the above instructions, please send a note to John Hawkins
asking if you should resubmit your ballot following the instructions exactly so
his software can deal with it.
For those that have still not voted ... There is
not much time, but you can still get your ballot in. If you have no
intention of reading the Terms and Definitions, please send in your ballot with
an Abstain for lack of expertise on this section.
Thank you.
