Re: [802.19] 802.11n-802.15.4 interference testing
As I said on the call today, the application space for 15.4
is so broad that coming up with a set of test scenarios that are
broadly endorsed is highly unlikely. At the end of the day a listen
before talk mechanism that inhibits channel bonding in the 2.4 band when
other users are detected be they 11 legacy, bluetooth, 15.4 or other is
still the most desirable plan to my mind.

Goyal, from University Wisconsin Milwaukee, has volunteered to perform
some interference testing of 11n and 15.4.
If anyone else would like to volunteer
to help with such testing please notify me and Mukul.
Thanks,
Steve

Subject: 802.11n-802.15.4 interference testing
Hi Steve
As I mentioned during the
teleconference, we have an 802.15.4 testbed which can be used for
802.11n-802.15.4 interference testing. This testbed is made up of JCI
devices that use TI 802.15.4 chips. I would be happy to discuss and
develop test plans with other interested people.
