[802.19] TG1 teleconferences and profiles

Dear all,

 

In reference to an earlier email remainder on TG1 teleconferences before the November 2012 plenary please find here a call for contributions on profiles.

In the meeting a few weeks ago we agreed in the TG to use profiles to determine what is mandatory and what is optional in a CE/CM implementation. We didn’t go deep into the details even though we discussed the topic e.g. with white board for some time with some examples.

Now it is time to go to the details and agree on issues like

a)      What the profiles look like?

b)      How many we need them?

c)       How do we implement them in the 802.19.1 specification?

 

If you have an opinion, please consider preparing a contribution for one of our calls listed in the earlier email. The objective is to start discussions in the call next week, on October 10, based on contributions. Please be prepared to submit your contribution to the mentor at least 24 hours before the start of the call. An email to the reflector will do as well if you are not able to prepare a document or a presentation in time.
