[802.19] FCC: Unlicensed White Space Device Operations in the Television Bands

Dear 802.18 members,

cc. 802.11, 802.15, and 802.19 members,

On 22 May 2023, the following final rule related to unlicensed white space device operations in the TV bands was uploaded to the Federal Register.

This final rule " upholds the Commission's decisions allowing mobile devices to operate at 16 watts EIRP and permitting narrowband white space devices to operate in all areas rather than limiting them to “less congested” areas".
