[802.19] New Zealand Spectrum Outlook 2023 to 2027

Earlier this week, New Zealand Radio Spectrum Management (RSM) announced the publication of its annual report: Spectrum Outlook 2023 to 2027.

It is available at:

Throughout the report, they mentioned about the following that may be of interest:

1)  Continue monitoring the 5.925 GHz to 6.425 GHz band, and the use of AFC

2)  Consider the future use of the 6.425 GHz to 7.125 GHz band

3)  Investigate different spectrum sharing mechanisms

4)  COnsider updating the General User Licences, particularly for short range devices
