On 20 May 2024, Qatar Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) issued a consultation that asked for public opinions on its proposed update on the Class License for Short Range Devices.  There are changes related to the UWB regulations and the proposal of allowing lower 6 GHz bands for WAS/RLANs applications.

The comment submission deadline is 25 June 2024.  If you would like IEEE 802 LMSC to submit a response, please bring a contribution to IEEE 802.18 to review and consider approval no later than 13 June 2024.

Regards,
Edward
