stds-80220-requirements: Updated Functional Requirements Document Revision 3.

This is Kei Suzuki of Kyocera Corporation.

Kyocera would also like to make some comments on the 802.20 Requirements
Document Revision 3 as following:

- 4.1 System Aggregate Data Rates-Downlink & Uplink(in Table 1 & 2)

Those tables need to use the similar value defined on the PAR.
The units of value in the tables have been already defined in the PAR.
The units shall be standardized by "cell."

Reason: In Appendix A, it defines that the term "cell" refers to one
single-sector base station or to one
sector of a base station deployed with multiple sectors.

- 4.17 Link Adaptation, Power Control, and Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation

This section already combined with section 4.8 "Link Adaptation and Power
Control." Therefore, it
   shall be deleted.

- 4.20.3 IP-Level Handoff

This topic shall not belong to AI issue. Then, the handoff support has been
already described in the section 4.20.
Therefore, we believe that this IP-Level Handoff can be deleted. In the
802.20 Requirement Document,
it is better to focus only regarding the AI issue.

Best regards,

件名: stds-80220-requirements: Updated Functional Requirements Document Revision
      3.

I have sent a new revision to be distributed via the drop box.

I would like to have additional contributions.
?The QOS section needs a lot of
work.?It is critical to the success of this product if it is to be competitive
with other broadband solutions that strong QOS features are built into the
system.

VOIP Latency, Jitter and packet loss requirements in support of various Codec
’s
must be submitted so that the group can select the most restrictive
requirements.
