RE: [802.21] Minutes: Ad-hoc on IE discussion for Higher Layers (02/14)



Hi Daniel,
To my defense, the minutes do not capture the trail of discussion.  The
discussion first started with what is already present in the draft
specification and that included the PoA capabilities information for
IPv4 or IPv6 that is supported in the target network. That was the
issue. It was not related to MM or MIP specifically. The MIP context
came up to indicate that the IP mobility/handover will not work if there
was a mismatch in IP versions.

I do agree on the other goals of 802.21. I am sorry if you feel this
item did not receive fair discussion. I hope in the future we will have
favourable telecon timings to all the participants.
