[802.3_100GEL] Liaison from OIF - Progress on OIF CEI-112G-VSR and CEI-112G-LR Projects

Dear Colleagues,

The IEEE 802.3 Working Group Chair, David Law, informed me of a liaison from OIF related to our Task Force work.  At the January 2020 interim meeting, our Task Force will need to review the liaison materials and determine if a response is necessary.  If a response is needed, then we will need to propose a reply for consideration.

I'd like to request that the IEEE P802.3ck Task Force review this letter during their upcoming January 2020 interim meeting, and based on the review make a recommendation at the IEEE 802.3 interim meeting on Thursday 23rd January 2020 if there should be a reply, and if so, propose a draft reply.
