Re: [802.3_100GEL] 7/21 & 7/22 Telephonic Meetings - Proposed Agenda

Hello Hello –

As I noted on Friday, the following is the comment agenda for BOTH days this week.  Please note that the Cable Assembly topic will have a limited time on Tuesday, so the latter half of that list is likely to be tabled.  As per our usual, we will have a VERY full meeting and I will be pressing the group to make decisions and move along.

After looking further, please note that I will be seeking a motion for BOTH buckets:  the original non-contentious bucket less the pulled comments and the second closed as a result bucket.  Please reach out to me, if you’re intending to oppose either of those motions, should they arise… remember that in this space, if we do NOT have unanimous consent, a roll call vote must be taken.  Should you intend to oppose, your telling me ahead of time, will allow me to prepare appropriately.

“See” you in a couple days!

~Beth

Subject: Announcing the Telephonic Interim Series for Draft 1.2 Comment Resolution

Hello All –

The P802.3ck Task Force will be meeting via 8 telephonic interims to resolve comments to draft 1.2 throughout June 30th-July 29th.  The series of calls will act as a single meeting: sharing webpage, minutes, agenda, etc.  The focus of these meetings will be to resolve comments made against our Draft 1.2.

Presentations providing a suggested remedy to a comment, or details of such, are due Wednesday June 17th, with no presentation request required.  Updates to said presentations and consensus presentations will have a different deadline, yet to be announced.  Any presentations made during the telephonic interims will be held to a 10 minute timeslot (including Q&A).

Please note that there is no registration requirement for this series, however attendance will be recorded and voting on motions will be by 802.3 voters only.  A calendar invite will be sent via the reflector momentarily, otherwise contact Beth if you need it sent directly to you.

The series is as follows:

Tuesday, June 30th – 7-10am PDT

Monday, July 6th – 7-10am PDT

Wednesday, July 8th – 7*-10am PDT

Wednesday, July 15th – 7*-10am PDT

Tuesday, July 21st – 7-10am PDT

Wednesday, July 22nd – 7*-10am PDT

Tuesday, July 28th – 7-10am PDT

Wednesday, July 29th – 7*-10am PDT

*The Webex event space will open 30 minutes early on the Wednesday interims, to allow for offline consensus building, however the meeting and resolving comments will not begin until 7am PDT

Please contact us if you have any questions!

Beth & Kent
