RE: [10GBT-Modeling] RE: [10GBT-Cabling] [10GBASE-T] a channel capacity estim...
The measurement data is in the form of a zip file which is not making it through the reflector. I will send it to the list of modeling participants through direct email. Anyone not receiving it, can request it directly from me.
regards
Bill

All,
Attached you will find my latest version of i3e.
It allows the user to use either the ISO models or Solarflare measurements for everything except return loss.
In addition, the parameter "solarilmodel" allows the user to use the ISO insertion loss(IL) model with Solarflare measurements.
The EL-FEXT and NEXT curves have been scaled to meet the limit lines for frequencies
up to 100 MHz. The EL-FEXT curves were shifted up 13.1, 13.3, 11.7, and 11.1dB for
victim pairs 1,2,3, and 4. Similarly, the NEXT curves were scaled up by 4, 0.08, 2.1, and
1.9 dB.
The level of cancellations remain the same as in Marvell's original code, except that alien
next cancellation is a parameter controlled by "cancdB".
The results are as follows:
Cancellation 0 dB 10dB
---------------------------------------------------------------
ISO only 4.92 7.85
Solar(with ISO IL) 9.11 12.66
Solar(with Solar IL) 10.55 14.68
