Marek,
on slide 11 for D1 and D2 configurations,
it appears that the FEC coding gain credit, although listed as 4 dB, tallies
to only 3.  If this is intended, perhaps it needs an explanation in
a footnote.

Dear all, 
 
attached please find the final report from
Task 3 activities within the ad hoc on higher split ratio. 
 
A short reminder on the specific goals
of this task: examination of the current state of RX/TX/AMP technology
along with estimation of economic and technical aspects of application
of various RX/TX/AMP component configurations, aiming at achieving >=
29 dB budgets required for proper system operation with 1x64 and 1x128
split ratios with the target distances of 10 and 20 km. 
 
Any comments and suggestions are more than
welcome. Slide number 2 includes a list of supporters and participants
of this Task. If You want to be also included in this list, please email
me. (The names are sorted alphabetically against the first names).
