Colleagues, I’ve been reviewing D1.8022 and I have found a couple
of things that don’t seem to quite agree with the accepted comment
database. 1. It appears that the resolution to Comment 1457 has not
been implemented in this draft. I would point out that comments 1456 and
1457 are similar comments that apply to Subclause 30.3.2.1.2 and 30.3.2.1.3
respectively. I believe the resolution to 1456 has been put into this
draft and that 1457 was possibly overlooked. The text we have in 30.3.2.1.3
should be identical to the text we have in 30.3.2.1.2. Replace the existing text for 30.3.2.1.3 with the following: “Add: 10/1GBASE-PR Clause 92 symmetric 10 Gb/s 64B/66B 10/1GBASE-PRX Subclause 92.2.1.1 asymmetric 10 Gb/s 64B/66B
with 1 Gb/s 8B/10B” 2. Editor’s note 3 in Subclause 56.1 on page 30 line 7
is very confusing. It is not clear to me what the purpose of this note
is, and I think it should be removed from the draft. Now that we have
added all of the Clause 56 material, I think that the note is no longer
needed. If the note stays as written, it is very likely to create
confusion and cause numerous comments to be written about it. Teknovus |
