[8023-10GEPON] P802.3av/D2.1 Recirculation Ballot Results
Dear Colleagues,
I am pleased to report that the IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot on IEEE Draft P802.3av/D2.1 has closed, with the following results:

Approve 122
Disapprove (with comments) 12
Disapprove (without comments) 1
Abstain 22
Returns 157
These returns resulted in the following metrics:
Response Rate 71%
Approval Rate 91%
Abstention Rate 14%
The ballot has met the required response rate (>50%), abstention rate (<30%), and approval rate (>75%).
During this ballot period we have received 296 new comments on D2.1. Of these, there are
- 30 TRs
- 95 Ts
- 21 ERs,
- 150 Es

You will notice that this report also contains 20 unsatisfied negative comments from the initial working group ballot (17 TRs and 3 ERs). These unsatisfied negative comments are numbered beginning with the sequence 20000, and were included in the recirculation ballot.
Our editors are hard at work producing proposed responses to each of the comments. According to our announced schedule, the proposed responses will be published on or before Monday, November 3rd.
