Dear Colleagues, The minutes of the 802.3av April Interim Meeting have
been uploaded to http://www.ieee802.org/3/av/public/2009_04/3av_0904_minutes_unapproved.pdf. This meeting has focused on resolving 113 comments
(including 6 post-deadline comments). Final comment responses are recorded here:
http://www.ieee802.org/3/av/public/2009_04/3av_0904_comments_d3_2_accepted.pdf. Both the number of comments and the amount of technical
changes were above the level we should have at this stage in our draft. To
ensure that we adhere to our previously approved timeline, we will have an
additional Interim meeting in Shanghai, P.R. China on June 8-9, 2009. I would like to thank ZTE for organizing the meeting on a
very short notice. We have a very nice venue and no registrations fees for this
meeting. All meeting details and registration forms are available

Please, note that meeting registration and hotel reservation deadlines are on
May 20th, but early registrations are always appreciated. Here is our intended timeline in preparation for the
Shanghai meeting: May 6, 2009 -

preliminary draft (D3.2.1) is due May 12, 2009 - Draft D3.3 is
posted May 15, 2009 - 2nd Recirculation
Sponsor Ballot on P802.3av/D3.3 opens May 31, 2009 - 2nd Recirculation
Sponsor Ballot on P802.3av/D3.3 closes; Comments on D3.3 are due June 4, 2009 - Proposed D3.3
comment responses are posted June 8-9, 2009 - Comment resolution during June
