RE: Link Status encodings




802.3ae/D2.0 clause 46 has been edited per the adopted Tampa presentation,
taborek_2_1100.  The RS ignores MAC transmissions and sends alternating
Pulse and Idle.

Assuming that the MAC/RS does not stop packet transmission while it sends RF
indication, and that there is no /A/ column because the IPG is minimal:
Where will the POS be transmitted over the XAUI?
