Piers,

Thank you for sharing to the reflector.  

I consider this a late presentation and we will therefore need to ask the TF if there is interest to review the contribution and we will likely only consider reviewing this at the end of the meeting, needing to prioritize the comment resolution that we need to address.

We have previously announced that all the optical presentations in this session will be handled on Thursday last week. 

After your contribution last week, we had a straw poll (#O-1)to gauge the consensus around your proposal.  Given the result from that straw poll was fairly clear that there wasn’t consensus to make your proposed change.

I recognize that this update is relevant to the upcoming comment R2-205 which is why I encouraged you to send it to the reflector.

I suggest you bring up any of these new aspects verbally during the comment resolution on R2-205 but will defer the decision to review the late contribution until after the scheduled comment resolution.

I have updated the slides:

Clarified that ECQ means TECQ, TDECQ or SECQ;

Compared my proposal with D2.1 (additional slide 4) and made some additions on slides 5, 6 and 11;

and retitled some slides for clarity.

This presentation relates to comment R2-205 and others as listed on slide 2.

 

Seeking permission from the group to show slides 4, 5, 6 and 11 to point out the new material.
