[802.3_ISAAC] Offer of Editorial help for P802.3dm contributions

Hi P802.3dm contributors,

We had a number of great contributions during our ad hoc call last week.  Some of the presenters indicated that they may provide baseline text for review and voting in November.  If you plan to do this, feel free to contact me to review your contribution.  I am happy to review it for completeness and correctness in implementation instructions.  I can help you figure out where your text may go in the draft, if it has missing information, if it is clear, etc.  I will not provide any technical feedback.  If you would like my help as you put text together, for November or future meetings, please contact me at least two weeks before your contribution must be submitted to ensure there is time for review and feedback.  This means that you need to contact me by Monday, October 21st if you would like me to review your contribution for proposed baseline text for November.  As your Editor, I would prefer to work with you prior to your text being approved, instead of having multiple questions while trying to implement it, leading to potential incorrect implementations and unexpected TBDs, or delayed or incomplete drafts if I am not able to reach you.

As some of you know, I was the editor for P802.3ch.  Early in that project, I gave a presentation (based on one Marek Hajduczenia had created for P802.3bp) on what to provide in baselines, what format to use for them, and what the editor will and won't do.  I would suggest that anyone who is not familiar with this process review the presentation.  If you have any questions, please send them to the reflector as others may have the same questions.

Sincerely,

Natalie Wienckowski
