Re: [802.3_ISAAC] IEEE 802.3dm Ad-Hoc Meeting: February 27th, 2025

Hello All,

Wanting to spread awareness of today being the final day to let me know if you intend to present during the upcoming Ad-Hoc meeting for 802.3dm on February 27th, 2025.
I will accept responses up to 11:59PM PST.

Again, thank you to those that have already responded and let me know of their intention to present during the Ad-Hoc meeting later this month. We have six presentations slotted thus far.

The date to provide a presentation for the Ad-Hoc meeting still stands as before. The presentation shall be provided three days in advance of the meeting date if you provided the intent to present by February 14th.
- this would be by February 24th for the February 27th ad-hoc meeting

At this point I believe we can support the six presentations in the meeting time with roughly 30 minutes provided to each. If you have any questions regarding this expected agenda please let me know.

Lastly, I wanted to again let everyone know that the meeting invite is on the IEEE802.3 meeting calendar thanks to Jon's efforts. If you have any difficulties seeing the invite, let us know.

Safe travels to all that will be attending the Automotive Ethernet Congress next week and looking forward to building further consensus for 802.3dm the following week.

Thanks and Best,

Hello All,

Just a few brief updates to share since last week.

First off, thank you to those that have already responded and let me know of their intention to present during the Ad-Hoc meeting later this month. We have four presentations slotted thus far.

In my last email I had requested everyone to please let us know if you intend to present at the Ad-Hoc meeting as soon as possible.

In order to make the process smoother for the planning of the Ad-Hoc meeting, I'm adding in a deadline of February 14th as the last day to let us know if you plan to provide a presentation for the Ad-Hoc meeting.

The date to provide a presentation for the Ad-Hoc meeting still stands. The presentation shall be provided three days in advance of the meeting date if you provided the intent to present by February 14th.
- this would be by February 24th for the February 27th ad-hoc meeting

If we exceed the time available for the Ad-Hoc meeting we will discuss other meeting time options as well. This then allows us to better prepare if this ends up being the case. If you have any questions regarding this process please let me know.

Lastly, I wanted to let everyone know that we now have the meeting invite up on the IEEE802.3 meeting calendar thanks to Jon's efforts. If you have any difficulties seeing the invite, let us know.

Thanks and Best,

Hello All,

Hope everyone had safe travels back home or to wherever you were traveling to next after the interim meetings in Phoenix.

I'm following up to spread awareness of the ad-hoc meeting available to help build consensus in the February timeframe (February 27th) before the March 2025 Plenary.
As Jon mentioned in the January Interim dm meeting, I will be chairing the ad-hoc meeting with help of the dm leadership.

The ad-hoc meeting invite will be available through the IEEE 802.3 website calendar

If you plan to provide a presentation for the ad-hoc meeting, the presentation shall be provided three days in advance of the meeting date.
- by February 24th for the February 27th ad-hoc meeting

Please let us know if you plan to present as soon as possible since we have a small amount of time between meeting cycles.

I will follow-up again as we get closer to the ad-hoc meeting date.

Looking forward to meeting with you all and to help build further consensus.

Thanks and Best,

Jason Sisk
