Folks,
As of 9:25 AM PDT today, I have received no requests to present or
for meeting access information. S, I see no need to hold a
conference call. If anyone is interested in working on an EEE
proposal for the group, please contact me.

Dear colleagues,
As we begin to transition from Study group to Task Force, the time
is right to begin the technical work to develop a baseline
proposal for EEE. I would like to have a conference call on
Thursday, October 18 at 8AM PDT. The proposed agenda is:
8:00 AM - Meeting begins
Introductions and patent policy reminder
Presentations
Discussion
Action items and next steps
9:30 AM - Meeting concludes
Presentation topics should be aimed how defining what EEE should
be for this project. Should we simply re-use Low Power Idle or do
something different? If we have a technology choice to make (more
than one proposal to consider) I believe we should compare them
based on estimated energy savings and PHY wake time.
Those interested in presenting please send your topic and time
request to me at mjbennett@xxxxxxxx no later
than Monday, October 15th at 5PM PDT. The presentation materials
will be posted in the Ad Hoc Materials section of the RTPGE web (http://www.ieee802.org/3/RTPGE/public/adhoc/index.htm)
prior to the meeting.
Meeting access information will be sent prior to the meeting.
I look forward to getting started and hope you can join the call
Best regards,
Mike
