[802.3_SPEP2P] Comments received on D1.1 and proposed responses posted

All – thank you for the review of draft 1.1.  There were 121 comments received on draft 1.0.

You will find them posted in the comments area.  Clean text for some of the longer text inclusions can be found in the meeting area.

Many were editorial corrections, but some add new content or substantial corrections to the draft.  Please review.

Especially please review those marked “EZ”. These can be most easily found in the sort by “Topic”.  There are 76 of them.  The intent is to approve them in bulk by motion.  Please email the reflector if you wish to pull any of the EZ comments with the number of the comment.  We will then exclude it from the motion.

Additionally, review the 10 Editorial comments and I would appreciate a note if you think we need extra time on that.

We will have a busy meeting on Wednesday, reviewing the comments, so please review the materials in advance.  Regardless, based on a review of the comments, we still need to close additional areas, in particular, the test modes and PMA electrical specifications.  I therefore will prioritize any contributions proposing solutions to that text for Wednesday’s meeting, and I do not expect the editors to be turning the draft for another review before our subsequent meeting on July 10, where hopefully we can close the remaining items for technical completeness.

Thank you all.
