If you’re looking for things to contribute, consider the following known holes in the 802.3da draft: Management/Power Page 27 – Clause 30 management objects for clause 169 powering D-PLCA (this one isn’t critical – we can drop it and still be complete) Page 48 – additional information on the relationship between hard_aging_cycles and soft_aging_cycles in D-PLCA Clause 168 – Gonna need some input from people making 10BASE-T1S devices… Page 79 – whether the droop constant of the DME transmitter, OR the transmitter PSD mask need adjustment (see beruto_3da_20220502_tx_model.pdf for a description of the problem with the transmit PSD mask) Page 81 – adjusting the alien crosstalk rejection test to a 50 ohm mixing segment and our increased loss function… (needs some simulation work, or else some lab measurements for a real number…) Page 83 - mixing segment return loss (I think Chris is working on this) Page 87 – whether we need an additional isolation requirement when clause 169 powering is NOT used… Clause 169 – don’t put this all on Michael! Page 116 – fix the Top level MPD state diagram at the outputs from PON_EVAL Page 107 - Table 169-3 (MPSE discovery) TBD max values for Discovery low event time and Discovery time… Page 108 - Table 169-5 (MPSE power supply) TBD values for output slew rate (max & min), output short circuit current (max & min) Page 118 - Table 169-8 (MPD power supply) TBD value for max MPD capacitance on the MPI Page 124 – PICS for clause 169….
