[802.3_NGECDC] IEEE 802.3 NEA Ad hoc - July Meeting Announcements



Dear Ad Hoc Participants –

The IEEE 802.3 NEA Ad hoc will be meeting during the upcoming IEEE 802 Jull 2017 Plenary Session (week of July 9, 2017) that will be held in Berlin, Germany.  Meeting details, hotel reservations and registration links may be found at the following URL: http://802world.org/plenary/.  Please make your hotel reservations as soon as possible.

 

There will be two sessions:

 

Session #1 – Single Pair Ethernet

Meeting Tues (Jul 11)  1pm to 3pm (or earlier on Tues, pending availability of participants, based on other TF schedules)

Consensus building on meetings to discuss possible uses for single pair Ethernet in:

  • Building automation control interface
  • Intra-system (e.g. server, switch, etc) control interfaces

 

Session #2

Meeting Tues (Jul 11) 7:30 to 10pm

 

  • Topic #1 – Next Generation MMF PMDs

  • Topic #2 – 100 Gb/s Electrical
