Call for Presentations:
This is a reminder that requests for presentation time for the May interim meeting in Long Beach are due Wednesday, May 19, 2004. Presentation materials are also must be submitted at that time. Please follow the procedures for presenters posted at:

The rough meeting agenda is:
Wednesday, May 26:
8:30am-5:30pm – presentations
Thursday, May 27:
8:30am-5:30pm – presentations and work session
Final agenda will be a function of the number, and nature, of presentation requests.
Objectives for the meeting:
1. Adoption of a preliminary channel model to guide future work on modulation simulation and experiments.
2. Continue discussion of auto-negotiation requirements and mechanisms and come to a decision on the inclusion of auto-negotiation as part of the proposed standard.
3. Continue discussion of technology options for 1 and 10Gb/s physical layers (modulation and coding).
