IEEE P802.3ap Task Force Members,
Per the direction set at the January interim meeting, Draft 0.8 of IEEE P802.3ap has been generated and posted for review. As a result of the work done in January, our draft has grown in size by over 50% and there is a great deal of new content in need of careful review. Thanks to Schelto and the various contributors of draft text for pulling this together in such a compressed time frame.
The number of commenters and the volume of comments against draft 0.7 were small and we strongly encourage all of you to participate in this review. We would very much like to increase the “turn-out” for draft 0.8.
COMMENT PERIOD OPEN:
At the March plenary, comments received during this period will be reviewed and resolved. If a Task Force member plans to make a presentation for adoption into the next draft, then it is highly recommended that the Task Force member submit a comment with a reference to the presentation as part of the suggested remedy.
Thank you for you careful and thorough review of the document.
Adam Healey, Chair Schelto van Doorn, Editor

This is a Windows-based run-time database application. Save the compressed zip file to a directory where you wish to uncompress the file. Once you uncompress the file, do not move the directory or any files in the directory as this may prevent the executable program from running properly. Double-click on the executable file (EXE) to run the database application. If this is the first time you have used this comment generation tool, please read the instructions.
NOTE: Use of this tool is greatly preferred, as the output it generates is easy to import into our comment resolution database. If you are unable to use the tool, please format your comments and submit them as described below. Acceptable comment types:
