Not sure where you see the 6dB of loss. Ports 1,2 are the thru, 3 is the
aggressor input, and 4 was terminated to 50ohm on the PNA. I've attached
a plot of the krytar_90554.s4p showing insertion loss at ~0.8dB out past
5GHz and directivity of ~10dB.

So this coupler has 6dB loss. I suspect the EIT channel + coupler should
approach AF max limit.
