All – Thank you to the commenters and our editorial team, we now have proposed responses posted for the comments which came in on the 1st recirculation of the 802.3cg working group ballot. Please review the proposed responses, as well as the ‘EZ bucket’ and ‘Editorial’ comments. As usual, please email me (and copy Valerie) if you wish to have any of the EZ or Editorial bucket comments discussed separately, outside of the
motion. While not necessary, a short description of the issue will help us guide the discussion in the group, and possibly craft an alternate resolution. You will also notice there are 2 groups of late comments – we plan to ask task force separately – a ‘late’ and a ‘very late’. The difference is that our editors have had a chance to review, consider, and in most cases, provide proposed
resolutions to ‘late’ comments, but not yet to the ‘very late’ comments, which we received late last week. I propose to be asking the task force whether to consider the ‘late’ comments and the ‘very late’ comments separately. Of course, what form motions
come in is subject to the group in Bangkok. Additonally, the initial presentations, a presentation list and a preliminary agenda are posted in the November 2018 meeting area. I urge presenters to please get me their presentations asap, but in no case later than Thursday pacific
time. we all have a busy travel schedule. -george George Zimmerman, Ph.D. Technical Committee Chair, Ethernet Alliance Chair, IEEE P802.3cg 10 Mb/s Single Pair Ethernet Task Force Principal Member, NFPA – NEC Code Making Panel 3 for Ethernet Alliance President & Principal CME Consulting, Inc.
