I hear through the comments that some may be considering state diagram changes. If you are considering proposing a change, I strongly urge you to request a presentation IMMEDIATELY, and get the presentation to me to post by Thursday.
Based on consensus discussions we can, of course, make changes during the meeting, however, I caution that it will be difficult for members of the group (speaking for myself) to adequately consider your proposal without having the proposed diagrams and changes
available for review in advance. Obviously, this isn’t needed for text changes fully described in comments, and I thank those participants who have already put proposals in front of the ad hoc. However, if you are considering a proposal, do not wait to request your presentation
slot and get the proposal posted – you are ALREADY LATE. Discussing in small groups offline does not build the consensus we need from the broad group, and, at the last meeting I recall several instances where people wanted more time to review proposals they
hadn’t seen in advance. -george George Zimmerman, Ph.D. Chair, IEEE P802.3cg 10 Mb/s Single Pair Ethernet Task Force President & Principal CME Consulting, Inc.
