IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot results
Dear Colleagues,
The 1st IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot on the Amendment IEEE
P802.3ch Multi-Gig Automotive Ethernet PHY closed successfully on 23rd
August 2019. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve
the draft. The September 2019 IEEE P802.3ch Task Force interim meeting
<http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html> will consider the 167
comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The
availability of the comment database has been announced on the IEEE P802.3ch
Task Force reflector.
An additional comment was received after the ballot closed, this comment
will be marked as 'late' in the comment report and will be considered by the
IEEE P802.3ch Task Force if, based on a vote if necessary, there is no
objection to do so.
The ballot statistics are:
235 Voters
103 Approve
9 Disapprove
21 Abstain
133 Ballots returned
56% Response Rate (> 50% required)
15% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
91% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
