Dear colleagues,
We have a very full agenda for the ad hoc meeting. I will start promptly and be rigorous with the time allocation.
The proposed agenda for the 4 May 2023 electrical ad hoc meeting is as follows:
- IEEE SA Patent Policy
- IEEE SA Participation Policy
- IEEE SA Copyright Policy
The following is a list of contributions for the meeting:
- “Action Item: Project Scope Issues: Active Cables” – John D’Ambrosia
- “Analysis of Noise Coloring Effect on MLSE COM Using Error Events” – Hossein Shakiba
- “Error Propagation Analysis of MLSE ” – Hossein Shakiba
- “C2M S-parameter Frequency analysis + discussion” – Rick Rabinovich
- “200 Gb/s PAM4 Channel sweep designs for “Near Package Connector (NPC) KR cabled managed crosstalk backplane” and “C2C with 1 connector” topologies with crosstalk -- update” – Rich Mellitz
- “Backplane objective IL target - status report” – Rich Mellitz
- “200 Gbps/lane AUI C2M Channel Selection Criteria”, Kent Lusted
There will be another announcement later today or early tomorrow when the contributions are posted to the TF website.
As an ad hoc, no decisions (i.e. motions) will be made. However, I will conduct straw polls to test the group’s consensus on certain topics.
All teleconference meeting participants should review the following documents prior to participation in an IEEE meeting teleconference:
· IEEE SA patent policy
· IEEE SA Copyright Policy
· IEEE SA Participation Policy and IEEE Code of Conduct
With regards,
-Kent
