This is
apparently NOT a fact. Many major semiconductor companies (e.g., Lucent,
Infineon, AMD, ... the list goes on) are not on the supporter list of Artman's
proposal.
On the other
hand, Intel and GlobeSpan supported the SHDSL baseline proposal as
well.
