RE: [EFM-P2MP] alpha
Hi all,
According to my recollection we have agreed to enter it into the draft in
the last EFM meeting. It is part of "lee_p2mp_1_0503.pdf" and it is part of
the resolution of comment 816 for draft 1.414.
I think that the additional text is appropriate and it matches the
equivalent description in G.975 (section 5.2) we refer in the beginning of
the section.

Subject: [EFM-P2MP] alpha
All,
I've received a comment from Hoon Lee regarding some proposed text
changes to the description of Alpha. If anyone has an opinion on this one
and is willing to share it before next week's meeting, I'd be glad to
hear it.
Thanks,
Ben
65.2.2, Page 580, Line 35
Comment:
It would be better change "where alpha is equal to 0x02."
See comment #816 on D1.414
Suggested Remedy:
New text:
"where alpha is equal to 0x02 is a root of the binary primitive
polynomial x^8+x^4+x^3+x^2+1."
