Dear Colleagues,
The 2nd IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot on the amendment IEEE P802.3db 100 Gb/s, 200 Gb/s, and 400 Gb/s Short Reach Fiber closed successfully on 16 February 2022. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The 24 February 2022 IEEE P802.3db Task Force interim meeting <https://ieee802.org/3/calendar.html> will consider the 2 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database has already been announced on the IEEE P802.3db Task Force reflector.
The ballot statistics are:

4 Disapprove with comment
1 Disapprove without comment
18 Abstain
176 Ballots returned
78% Response Rate (> 50% required)
10% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
97% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
