[802.3_DIALOG] IEEE P802.3.1 (IEEE 802.3.1b) Ethernet SMIv2 Data Model Definitions (revision) 2nd Standards Association recirculation ballot results

Dear Colleagues,

The 2nd Standards Association recirculation ballot on the Revision IEEE P802.3.1 (IEEE 802.3.1b) Ethernet SMIv2 Data Model Definitions (revision) closed successfully on 8th October 2024. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft, and no comments were received. As a result, the IEEE P802.3.1 (IEEE 802.3.1b) interim meeting on 11 October 2024 is cancelled. In addition, based on the conditional approval granted at the September 2024 IEEE 802.3 interim meeting, we will progress the submittal of IEEE P802.3.1 (IEEE 802.3.1b) draft D3.2 to RevCom.

The ballot statistics are:

  88 Voters
  67 Approve
   1 Disapprove
   7 Abstain
  75 Ballots returned

  85% Response Rate (>= 75% required)
   9% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
  98% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
